Thank you for your continued commitment to a just and equitable Oregon for all of us. This year at The Collins Foundation (TCF) we’ve deepened our learning from communities across the state to be a more responsive grantmaker and partner.

BEM Committee awarded $2,390,000 to Black-serving and/or Black-led (Black) organizations in 2023

Dear Community Partners, 

Thank you for being in community with us this year. 

The Collins Foundation’s (TCF) Black Equity Movement Committee (BEM) was created in 2020 with a vision for confronting and addressing the inequities experienced by Black Oregonians wherever they live in the state. Almost three years into our work, we continue to listen, learn, and act for an equitable and just Oregon. 

The Collins Foundation Black Equity Movement 2023 General Operations Grant is closed.

Portland, Oregon- The Collins Foundation Black Equity Movement (BEM) Committee is pleased to announce the 2023 BEM General Operations Grant. The grant is for emerging and mid-size Black-serving and/or Black-led organizations in Oregon which have been in operation for fewer than seven years or have an operating budget under $500,000. The maximum grant amount is $50,000. 

The Collins Foundation seeks an Executive & Finance Office Administrator

The Collins Foundation in Portland, Oregon, seeks a full-time Executive & Finance Office Administrator to provide executive support to the CEO and CFO, as well as office administration and grantmaking support. The Foundation supports Oregon nonprofits, both urban and rural, that are dedicated to improving quality of life for their communities.

The Collins Foundation Welcomes a New Community Trustee

The Collins Foundation is excited to announce Latricia Tillman as our new Trustee. Well known to champions of equity and racial justice, Latricia specializes in equity policy development and implementation, coaching, consulting, public speaking, program design, along with equity, diversity and inclusion assessments, interventions, strategies, and implementation support. Latricia fills the seat vacated by Serena Cruz.
