In August and October, the Foundation approved 74 awards through our Responsive Grantmaking program, totalling approximately $2.9 million invested in more than 20 communities across Oregon.

We are thrilled to announce that at the Foundation’s February 2019 trustee meeting, three new trustees were appointed to our board. Jaime Arredondo, Serena Cruz, and Kimberlee Pierce Sheng will join four Collins family members for a total of seven trustees. All three bring extensive and impressive experience in leading community organizations in Oregon and we are grateful to have their insights, perspectives, and expertise to help guide our work and vision for a just and compassionate Oregon.
At the Foundation's first trustee meeting of 2019, 24 single-year and 16 multi-year grants were approved, totalling over $1.56 million to support high-impact community work in urban and rural communities across Oregon.
At the final 2018 meeting of The Collins Foundation trustees, 17 single-year and 18 multi-year grants were approved, totalling over $1.7 million to support high-impact community work in urban and rural communities across Oregon.
This month, The Collins Foundation trustees approved 20 multi-year grants and 16 single-year grants, totalling nearly $2 million awarded across seven program areas.
At the June and August 2018 meetings of the Trustees, The Collins Foundation awarded 28 multi-year grants and 49 single-year grants, totalling nearly $4 million invested in communities across Oregon.
At the February and April 2018 meetings of the Trustees, The Collins Foundation awarded nearly $4 million in grants to 72 organizations across the state.
